The Board of Cricket Control in India in its Special General Meeting held on 29th May 2021 decided to move the pending 31 Matches of Indian Premier League 2021 to United Arab Emirates, IPL is expected to start after Indian Tours of England 2021, schedule of IPL 2021 for remaining matches is yet to be announced. There are various challenges for franchises; availability of foreign players is one of the main challenges, English players are likely to miss remaining IPL, as per news reports in British Media. Australian and New Zealand players’ availability also needs to be seen, as both teams have busy international calendar. UAE leg of IPL 2021 is set to bring exciting time for cricket lovers across India.
