Manchester City was favourite going into the final, but Chelsea’s Kai Havertz scored the winner for Chelsea in the 42nd minute. Chelsea was crowned the champions for the second time. Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was overwhelmed with this victory. Thomas Tuchel praised his player’s aggressive style of play. Chelsea goal scorer Kai Havertz said he waited for long time to live these moments. He thanked his family after the victory, he said after the match. Chelsea N’Golo Kante was named as the player of the match. Chelsea, were previously crowned champions in 2012, has become the 13th team to win multiple European Cups and the first new two-time champions since Barcelona in 2006.
