Fifth test match of India England test match had to been postponed due to Covid concerns. India team physiotherapist Yogesh Parmar tested covid positive a day before start of fifth test match. India team was pretty scared to play test match since physiotherapist came in close contact with few of the Indian team players. English board tried their best to convince Indian team management and BCCI, but BCCI told ECB in the current scenario it would be tough to continue since players are worried about their health. There are news reports in English Media that fifth test match could be played as one of test match between India and England next summer when India come to play England in ODI and T-20 series. Although BCCI president Sourav Ganguly told Indian media that test match should be counted as part of the test series which had to be postponed. According to news report BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is scheduled to be visit London later this month and will meet England Cricket Board officials to discuss the postponed test match schedule. Cricket fans would hope India England test series could get a winner and also get to see the postponed fifth test match.
