India beat Sri Lanka in 2 Match Test Series

Indian team blanked Sri Lanka in 2 match test series held in India. India won both the test matches easily by big margin.

First test match was held in Mohali, India won the first test match by an innings and 222 runs. Star of the match for India was Ravindra Jadeja scoring 175 runs not out in the first innings for India and picking up 5 wicket haul. Rishabh Pant missed out a 100, getting out at 96.

Rohit Sharma was impressive in his test match captaincy debut, though he did not contribute much with the bat, his captaincy impressed everyone, and how he rotated his bowlers.

Virat Kohli wait for next test hundred continues, Virat Kohli looked out of touch since the West Indies series, may be Virat is taking pressure on himself of scoring big runs for the team. Virat Kohli just needs to spend time in the middle, not think too much, runs will come surely.

Indian bowlers continues to be impressive, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja all picked wickets in the Mohali test match.

India cricket team still need to find one quality all-rounder and one spinner to strengthen the test team which will make the team stronger. For India to win test matches abroad all-rounder role would be most vital.

In the Second test match held in Bangalore was day night test match, India team struggled with the bat in the both innings. Shreyas Iyer scored a brilliant 92 in the first innings and took India score past 250, Jasprit Bumrah picked up his first five wicket haul in India. In the Second innings, Rishabh Pant scored fastest 50 by an Indian in test cricket in 28 balls; Shreyas Iyer scored brilliant 67 in the second innings as well for India. R Ashwin picked up 4 wickets for India in the second innings, Axar Patel picked up 2 wickets, and Jasprit Bumrah picked up 3 wickets for India in the second innings.

For Sri Lanka their Captain Dimuth Karunaratne scored a brilliant hundred in the second innings in pink ball day night test match. Kusal Mendis too scored fifty in the second innings for Sri Lanka. For Sri Lanka impressive thing was their bowling, with most of their players were new and does not have much experience, hope this tour experience would make Sri Lankan strong in the coming times.

Overall the 2 match experience was good experience for fans, players. It was good to see fans coming back to ground after a long time.

Hoping in coming times as well, Indian team would continue its domination at home.
